Disability Advocates Call for Action Limiting When Principal Can Exclude Student from School

Family law partner and Vice-President of the Ontario Autism Coalition (“OAC”), Melanie Battaglia, attended a news conference on Wednesday January 30 to demand that the Ford Government rein in the sweeping power of school principals to exclude a student from school, a collaboration between disability advocates, the OAC and the AODA Alliance with invited speaker, ARCH Disability Law Centre.
