Samantha Childs

Samantha Childs is an Associate Lawyer at PooranLaw, where she practices in the areas of Wills and Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Real Estate, and the firm’s I Decide Law Program™. She works closely with individuals and families to create practical, personalized plans that protect their loved ones and support their future goals.

Samantha joined PooranLaw as a summer student and returned to complete her articling term before joining the firm as an Associate. She is particularly passionate about helping families navigate estate planning and make informed decisions for loved ones with disabilities, simplifying complex legal matters and providing practical guidance every step of the way.

Samantha earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph. During law school, she gained valuable experience through placements at both a family law firm and an immigration law firm, where she developed a strong foundation in client advocacy and client-centred legal services. Through her practice, she is committed to providing thoughtful legal solutions that reflect each client’s unique circumstances, priorities, and long-term goals.
