Alan McCallum is a labour and employment lawyer based in PooranLaw’s Toronto office. Alan’s practice is dedicated to advising employers in the disability, health and social services sectors in relation to a wide range of human rights, labour and employment law matters, including collective bargaining and arbitration, human rights and accommodation, wrongful dismissal and employment standards.
Prior to joining PooranLaw, Alan articled in the public service, focusing on management side labour and employment law with the Government of Ontario. There, he assisted counsel and clients with a wide variety of complex labour, employment, human rights, and pensions matters. Alan is passionate about employment and labour law, and brings creativity, initiative, and dedication to client matters.
While attending the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, Alan worked as a summer student for a full-service Bay Street law firm. There, Alan engaged in a wide variety of complex litigation matters, providing clients with prompt service to meet their legal needs.
When Alan is not working, he can be found in the park with his dog Gracie, playing fetch or reading a book.
