Sania Rashid

Sania Rashid is an associate lawyer at PooranLaw. Her practice focuses on wills and estate planning, and estate administration. Sania brings a compassionate and pragmatic approach to her work.

Prior to joining PooranLaw, Sania worked at estate litigation law firms. She gained extensive knowledge on issues relating to capacity, guardianship, and will challenges, and has assisted on matters before various levels of court. Experience in estate litigation has informed her current practice, emphasizing the need for foresight and diligence throughout the estate planning process.

Sania values social justice. During law school, she was a Caseworker at Community Legal Aid in Windsor, where she helped claimants challenge Ontario disability support program decisions, as well as assisted tenants in Landlord and Tenant Board Tribunal. She was also a legal intern at the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) Toronto, where she worked on Intervenor and Interpleader actions in relation to various human rights legal matters concerning women’s rights.

Outside of the office, Sania enjoys baking, watching movies, going for walks and spending time with her family.
